When coming into town turning left on Conococheague street Lotus Moon is on the right. The color and font on the sign blends in so be careful not to miss it. Lotus Moon serves soup, sides, and sandwiches. This small business writes the most sweet notes on your to go bags. These sandwiches are made well and not thrown together. I ordered two sandwiches..The Figgy Brie & The Dark Moon. They were layered up with a wonderful helping of meat, Brie, lettuce, and sauce. Both sandwiches were filling and superbly delicious. The customer service was so wonderful and welcoming. This type of service in a quaint town brings you back for more. 14NOV.2024 Returning for a second time this year. This time lunch with my friend who works for Washington County’s water treatment. She eats hear a lot for lunch. She really likes the chicken or tuna salad. All their food is good and fresh. ”

This place is all that and more, with the added bonus that you are not buying from a chain, but a small business that really delivers. Great variety of cold and pressed sandwiches, with really fresh ingredients, clearly made by someone who knows how to cook and cares about customers. Generous and it only took a few minutes. “ We went the day after their soft opening and it was excellent!!! We had a tomato grilled cheese, quiche, pasta salad, and a raspberry pound cake. My kids devoured everything (even most of my food lol) and claimed it was their new favorite place. Absolutely adorable inside as well!! ”

“ The food was fresh and well-presented. We had the L. A dreamin' wrap as a salad and the bacon and cheese grilled cheese sandwich. The potato salad, which you could tell was homemade ( yum!), and the coleslaw were amazing and so was the service. Very nice and welcoming. Also, they give you menus to take home (bonus!) Place was cozy, relaxing, and well-decorated. Very well done! will be back! ”

“ Can I tell you how much I love this place?! Everything from the food, to the staff and the location is fantastic. My husband and I have been eating here for over a year and the food is always delicious and so fresh! We have brought our friends, even ones with dietary restrictions, and everyone has been able to find something. My husband loves the Mac and cheese, and The Astro and I love the LA dreaming wrap and her homemade potato salad. We love her soups and deviled eggs. She makes incredible charcuterie boards and catering trays that we have used for events as well. Definitely stop in here! ”

“ Happened upon this place while looking for a cafe in Hagerstown. Almost missed it, as it is along a section of street that is currently getting a face-lift! Entered in to discover that they just opened earlier this month and are still in the process of finishing the main dining room. They did have some seating available but it was like-spring weather so we opted to take it to go. The employees were so friendly and helpful and the service was quick. We really enjoyed the food! I got the Gibbous sandwich with coleslaw and my beau got the turkey noodle soup special with the ham and swiss. The Gibbous was an excellent and unique take on roast beef with the fresh onion and banana peppers, plus their special mayo. Quite delicious! I'm excited to see them grow. The interior is looking great, so I'm excited to see the dining room when it opens. Lovely place!! Highly recommend. Little side note, they are waiting on their payment processor so they are gonna be cash only for another week or so, I guess early March they will begin to take credit cards. ”
